David qualified as an osteopath in 1971 in London , UK . He also has a Naturopathic diploma and a diploma for teaching in higher education. In the UK he worked as an osteopath in hospitals and in-patient clinics as well as in private practice. He also taught osteopathy at what is now the British College of Osteopathic Medicine . In New Zealand he worked in Rangiora, North Canterbury and Christchurch before moving to Auckland to teach as one of the inaugural full time staff on the Osteopathy Masters degree programme which started in 1999 at UNITEC. Now having left UNITEC and full time teaching he is doing what he enjoys most, private practice.
David has experience of a wide range of osteopathic techniques including cranial. He also uses Neurolink's Neurological Integration System as this is a great way of treating many hidden and chronic conditions that may not be amenable to manipulation. He has worked at the world famous Neurolink Centre, Auckland with the founder director Dr Allan Phillips.
David Gale is a member of the World Osteopathic Health Organization (WOHO) and an affiliate of the American Academy of Osteopathy..
David is married to Susannah who has a long experience of Natural Therapeutics. Susannah Gale worked at the world famous Enton Hall Clinic, Surrey, England in the 1970's where she and David met. She no longer works full time as a general Naturopath but still actively pursues her interest in natural hormones, menopause counselling and weight loss programmes.
